Adaptable AI

Adaptable · Platform

AI that grows with your child.

Adaptable is a screen-free, ambient platform that begins at the crib and stays useful through the years that follow, gaining context, never demanding attention. Night Nanny is its first form.

02 — The thesis

A different training environment.

“Limit your kid’s screen time” is good advice for now, but most people are imprecise about why. The real issue was never technology itself, but the training environment on the other side of the glass. Engagement-optimized software trains a child for instant rewards, infinite novelty, and no meaningful consequences. Real life runs on delay, ambiguity, and the ability to sit with confusion long enough to form a model of what is happening.

The better parenting heuristic than minimize screens is choose the training environment that best helps your child build attention, reasoning, and a world model. Adaptable is calibrated to that: reflection, causal understanding, and tolerance for uncertainty. Not retention.

03 — Our first product

Night Nanny.

The first product on the Adaptable platform. It starts at the bedside, because that’s where parents need AI to earn trust first: quietly, overnight, in the moments before anyone is fully awake.

Night Nanny listens to your baby, learns what actually helps them settle, and gives you a clear account of what happens. Augmented parenting, not automated parenting.

This is Adaptable in its infancy: care that begins with sleep, then grows into routines, language, play, and the small patterns that shape a child’s world. The years that follow are built on the trust earned here.

Night Nanny

The nursery responds before you wake up.

Listens to the room, responds in the parent’s cloned voice, and learns what actually settles each specific baby.

04 — Where it goes

Stays in the room. Changes form.

Night Nanny stays in the nursery while your baby is young, improving with every release and learning their routines over time. When the monitor stage ends, the intelligence can move into a new form without starting over.

  • Now
    Night Nanny in the nursery

It helps through the hardest hours of infancy, noticing when something is wrong, soothing before escalation, and learning each baby's patterns over time.

  • Next
    Smarter software over time

Parents should not need to buy a new device every time the product improves. Night Nanny gets better through software updates, adding new ways to support sleep, language exposure, and routines.

  • Later
    Same intelligence, new form

The baby monitor is only the first shell. As the child grows, the intelligence can be re-housed in something more useful for the next stage, without losing the context it earned early.

  • Years from now
    Known from the beginning

Years later, the AI is still useful because it has context: what calms this child, how they learn, what they resist, and how support should feel.
